OK two things.

1. I am getting a cheap acoustic guitar tomorrow and I would like to know if there are any FREE manuals/videos on the internet which I can use which are best suited for beginners. Or any programs/dvds you think will be good for beginners.

2. Can you explain the basics of how to play a guitar.. any tips etc.

Learn How to Make Money Online

I heard someone play and the dude was great. He said he taught himself and he only been playing for a year. His guitar had more than 6strings though. What ya think?

About two years ago a friend of mine taught me how to play the anthem on his guitar, I’ve wanted my own ever since but never got around to it.
What would you recommend as a sort of “starter kit” and how do I learn?
